Online Clients
Onboarding
Minimum of 12 week commitment for all new clients
Previous or returning clients subject to arrangements at the coach’s discretion
For clients seeking coaching for a contest prep
Minimum of 16 week commitment with 12 weeks before contest
Upda
It is up the coach’s discretion to accept clients with less prep time but no less commitment.
Once payment is made and intake form filled out
New Training clients will be invited to the Train Heroic Platform.
Programming will be delivered within 3 business days (Monday through Friday) via the app once the invite is accepted.
New Nutrition clients will received an email within one business date with estimate start date.
Any delay or desired future start date will be reflected in days credited before the next billing cycle.
Communication
All training relevant communication and documentation is desired via the Train Heroic app via workout comments or sent via Whatsapp.
Voice messages are not preferred unless emergency or requested.
All nutrition relevant communication and documentation is desired in notes on the google sheet for check in and via Whatsapp.
Whatsapp Messages/emails will be replied to within 24 hours during normal business hours on normal business days.
Business days: Monday through Friday
Any communication on the weekend (Saturday & Sunday) is at the coach’s discretion
Communication received on the weekend will be replied to by end of day Monday.
Messaging requiring 1-2 hour response time, such as an athlete in contest prep or competing, can arrange for availability (not always possible or guaranteed).
Please refrain from using social media as primary communication of training or nutrition relevant information unless there is a stated reason from the coach.
Videos of lifts for review should be sent through WhatsApp.
Unless otherwise stated, please submit 1-2 videos per lift and any relevant accessories as instructed by your coach. These should be sent as the lifts occur and not stock piled into one message.
Please make sure to trim videos. Your coach will let you know if set up is needed to be reviewed and if I different angle might be better for review.
Please refrain from sending videos through the train heroic app, social media, or email.
Clients are asked to keep the Team Contest and Goals documented and updated at all times
Contest information must be archived in the document and sent via whatsapp when anything is added or updated for coach’s awareness.
Updates and Check Ins
Updates to training are to be delivered weekly based on your individual check in day as predetermined with your coach.
Example: If your check in day is Monday that means all updates should be completed by Sunday at midnight so they can be worked on Monday to be delivered by end of day Monday.
All nutrition updates will be delivered by end of given check in day.
An athlete’s training check in is completed when:
Have all workouts, comments, and videos submitted from prior week’s programming
Allow for 24 hours for update of program once all above is submitted from your assigned check in day
If the check in is not complete on time it is at the coach’s discretion to:
Repeat the prior week
Program the next week under the assumption the prior week was completed exactly as described
Leave programming blank until athlete communicates with the coach
Updated training schedule priority will always be the clients when on time check ins
An athlete’s nutrition check in is completed when:
All metrics and comment are completely filled and photo’s attached by midnight day prior to check in date.
Allow until until midnight on check in date for the next week’s adjustments to begin.
If the check in is not complete on time it is at the coach’s discretion to repeat the prior week.
Midweek adjustments are not available for missed nutrition check ins unless prior arrangements are agreed to from coach.
Privacy and Sharing Content
All information shared with your coach via the app, text, email or in person communication will be confidential unless otherwise given permission.
All content with either the company First Called Strength or the coach tagged will be viewed as public content and might be subject to use in advertisement or social media.
If a client gives consent to use their content, the client must communicate with the coach if or when they want individual content or content as a whole to cease being shared.
Subscriptions, Cancellation and Payments
Coaching is a subscription service.
Clients that reverse a spot on the roster with a deferred start date will have the next subscription payment adjusted to reflect time coached.
All clients must give 7 days notice of cancellation and prior to the upcoming week’s programming to be subject to cancellation.
Once a payment is processed there are no refunds.
No refunds will be given for training or nutrition programming that is already done or published.
It is the client’s responsibility to notify the coach of cancellation via email.
Payment failure will be given no more than two attempts through Squarespace billing at which time the client will have to resubscribe at current rate (no discounts given) and subject to $50 late fee at coach’s discretion.
It is the responsibility of the client to keep up to date billing information at all times.
Any gap of payment from cancellation to resubscription must be paid before coaching is resumed.
Any outstanding balances will be pursued even if coaching services are cancelled.
Competition Day Coaching
60 day notice is required for either in-person or virtual coaching options.
It is at the coach’s discretion to attend any event with less than 60 day notice.
If you would like your coach to travel to your competition, all travel expenses are to be the responsibility of the athlete.
This includes, but might not be limited to, transportation, accommodations, and entry to the venue.
An additional fee will be decided between you and your coach to compensate for meals and time.
If you would like your coach to be available for virtual coaching on meet day, including video review, feedback and planning, there will be a cost of $100.00 payable prior to the day of the meet.
Holidays and Vacation
Once per quarter the coach is permitted a week vacation
Programs/updates will be sent in advance
All athlete’s in contest prep or competing will have necessary arrangements made at the discretion of the coach. Communication will be limited to the most urgent messages only with no 24 hour guarantee.
Major holidays including Easter, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year’s Eve/Day will have all communication deferred to the next business day
Complaints and Resolution
If for any reason the client feels the coaching is not to standard in any way they may address the issue with the coach.
Reasons for complaints must be in regards to service provided laid out in the terms of service such as delayed response time without notification or absence on inadequate programming.
If the coach is at fault, resolution will be a determined credit of coaching service time.
Feedback is welcome in regards to the success of the programming but will not be considered for resolution through refund or dissolving of commitment if the athlete does not meet expectations as laid out in the terms of service.
Expectations of the client include but are not limited to:
Completed in full workouts
Weekly feedback view messages and videos
Changing of program without the coach’s approval
Properly updated contest/goals document
In Person Personal Training Clients
Privacy and Sharing Content

Subscriptions, Cancellation and Payments
All package training deals will be required to be set up on subscription basis.
Single sessions are the only sessions available to be paid for individually.
Package session clients have priority scheduling.
There is no refund for already completed personal training sessions.
Payment is due prior to the session or subscription time frame.
There must be at least 24 hour notice for rescheduling or it results in a cancellation of a session.
Sessions canceled are not available for refund.
Sessions must be rescheduled in the same payment period.
In the event of limited availability it is at the coach’s discretion to roll over used sessions into the next payment period.
Holidays and Vacation

Sessions left uncompleted during vacation will be either rolled over or the next payment period delayed to reflect.
At coach’s discretion

It is at the coach’s discretion to provide sessions on these days.
Company Ethics Policy
It is up to the discretion of Team First Called Strength and it’s coaches to cancel an athlete’s service on the basis of ethics.
Possible reasons for cancelation include but are not limited to:
Sale or production of explicit content or history of such behavior
Unlawful behavior or history of such behavior
Bullying or harassment of team or non team athletes
Defamation or the company or it’s coaches
There are no refunds for cancelation of services based on company ethics violations.
All balances due will still be pursued until paid in full.
All subscriptions to coaching will be canceled immediately.
